Campus Health
It takes forever to get through campus health. I got up at 8:30 am and went into campus health to get my throat checked out because its been killing me lately. First you have to wait to see a nurse to see if your sick enough to see a doctor, then you gotta see another nurse to ask you all sorts of questions to really make sure if you can see a doctor. Then finally you get to see a doctor. Inbetween all of these stages are waiting periods of like 45 minutes. This was early in the morning on a rainy day when Campus Health looked nearly dead. I cant imagine trying to go to Campus Health on any regular day or around noon. When all was said and done I got my perscriptions and am on my way to healing my sinus infection but it took 3 and a half hours just to get out of there. I ended up signing the papers for my perscriptions and walking out at 11:55 when I had arrived at 8:30. I feel like it would be cool if they put a little money into improving campus health.

this totally reminds me of the episode of seinfeild, where he talks about all the waiting rooms and the waiting room for the waiting room. its all a joke, hope you feel better!
ReplyDeleteThat's crazy that it took that long, that's awful! Hope you're feeling better!
ReplyDeleteThis is so true. I went to campus health after spring break and I parked in the 20 min zone thinking I would just walk in and see the doctor and walk out. Little did I know it would take 2 hours which was mostly just waiting by myself in different rooms. I heard the doctor talking and laughing with people right outside the door too. I just wanted to open it up and tell him to hurry up. I ended up having a ticket on my car, but the parking gods were in my favor and the guy wrote the wrong lisence plate down.
